Biography
Fazly Salleh Abas obtained his Ph.D from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom in 2004 in the field of image analysis and pattern recognition. Since then has been working in Multimedia University, Malaysia. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. He was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Clinical Image Analysis Laboratory, Ohio State University, Columbus working in Digital Pathology and Image Analysis. He was also a faculty dean from 2016 to 2023His research interests include (but not limited to) Image Processing and Analysis, Digital Pathology, Medical Image Analysis and Video Analytics.
