Dr Eliya Hamizah Halim is an experienced legal professional with a total of 8 years practical experience and academic expertise. Currently, she is a lecturer in law from Multimedia University, teaching a range of subjects including legal methods and skills, criminal law and law of banking. She has also published several papers and presented in conferences within this area.
She recieved her Bachelor of Law Degree from UiTM, and then proceeded with Master in Law (LLM) in International Banking Law and Finance from the University of Edinburgh. Subsequently, she completed her PhD from the University of Leeds. Her research delved into the intersection between customer due diligence under the Anti-Money Laundering regulations and its implication for financial inclusion.
