Badrul Husin is born in 18 September 1972 in a small town of Taman Selayang in Selangor. That has been his place of stay for about 30 years before he moves to Melaka in 2003 to work in Multimedia University. The third child of four siblings, he is currently married to Sariza Shaari and is now residing in Taman Saujana Indah, Melaka.
Badrul received his early education in Sekolah Rendah and Sekolah Menengah Selayang Baru. After SPM, he managed to secure a place in Universiti Pertanian Malaysia (currently known as Universiti Putra Malaysia) as an undergraduate in TESL (Teaching of English as a Second Language) majoring in Literature in English. After six years of studying (including two years in TESL Matriculation), he graduated in 1996, and began his career as an academician, teaching English subjects in Kolej Industri Pendidikan Selangor. This college is under Yayasan Selangor, an eduation arm for Selangor State. After this, he worked as a lecturer in two other places, namely Institut Maxisegar and ITTAR in a span of about four years before he finally joined Multimedia University (Melaka) in 2003. Here, in MMU, he currently teaching a wide variety of level of students, ranging from beginners level of profiency to more advanced and undergraduate students. He is also teaching various students from different faculties from LiFE to CDP to FOB. With a Master Degree in Corporate Communication whichhe received from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2011, his current expertise is not just in English Language, but also in Communication as in Corporate Communication and Business Communication.
